KEF Infra One - A World-Class Facility in a 1MN sq.ft Campus

Central to our innovative approach of construction is our Industrial Park dedicated to offsite construction – KEF Infra One. Located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, KEF Infra One brings a world-class, fully integrated, off-site construction facility to bridge the gap of cost, time, resource and quality that presently constrain the Indian infrastructure sector. It is the only facility of its kind in India and perhaps, the world.

Manufacturing Buildings, Off-Site!

Traditional construction methodologies have been transformed into a modern component-based assembly process by using KEF Infra's off-site manufacturing facilities. In an organized factory environment, employing the best robotics and automation technologies available globally, we manufacture complex building components with ease. Elements like columns, beams, hollow core slabs, wall panels, staircases, windows, doors, bathroom units and facades are manufactured at our facility, in a controlled environment. The units are then simply transported by road to the actual site, hoisted and assembled into position using conventional crane equipment. The beauty of the system is that KEF Infra provides end-to-end solutions to its customers, right from design to engineering to final build, and have complete control over the entire process of construction– making us good at what we do!

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

BIM is a contemporary industrial transition from the traditional 2D standard drawings towards a rich information model consisting of multiple data sources, offering a 3D representation of the physical and functional characteristics of places and projects, in real time. Using BIM in early stages allows all stakeholders to see and visualize the model, which represents the actual building components that are used to build the structure virtually before it is actually built on site.

Seeing the building's components, interactions and performance (structurally and thermally) with each other before actual construction, results in significant improvements in safety, waste, cost, time and quality control. It supports KEF Infra's decision making process and enables us to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain diverse physical infrastructures efficiently. KEF Infra is the only company in India to employ BIM Level 6 Integration in its design and build projects


The Revit building design software is specifically built for Building Information Modeling (BIM), empowering design and construction professionals to bring ideas from concept to construction with a coordinated and consistent model-based approach. KEF Infra uses Revit for architectural design, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) and structural engineering, and construction.
